ABLS Spring and Summer Dharma Service Notice
啟建華嚴七處九會海印道場、春季華嚴誦經暨清明祭祖法會
本社謹訂於西元2017年4月16日上午九時，啟建華嚴七處九會海印道場修證法會；當日午供，舉行成一老和尚圓寂六週年紀念會。4月17至23日止，舉辦為期一週的春季華嚴誦經暨清明祭祖法會。每日上午八時半起，諷誦《大方廣佛華嚴經》，由本蓮社住持天承法師主持並開示《華嚴經》要義；華嚴誦經共修，每日下午四點半結束。圓滿日4月23日上午八時半，諷誦〈普賢行願品〉經文，舉行「延生藥師普佛」法事一堂，以祈本社延生堂上諸蓮友、護法居士大德們，福壽康寧，家門吉慶。下午二時，設放「三時繫念」佛事一堂，願以此功德拔度本社功德堂上地基神祇、各姓護法門中先遠宗親、父母師長、冤親債主、無緣子女等眾亡靈，早生淨土。
Spring Avatamsaka Sutra Chanting Dharma Event for Ching Ming
Ching Ming (Tomb-sweeping Day) is a traditional Chinese Memorial Day to remember the deceased family members and friends. Accordingly, ABLS will hold a memorial event April 16-23 led by Abbess Tian Cheng. Participants will chant Avatamsaka Sutra starting from 8:30 AM every day, and Abbess Tian Cheng will lecture the synopsis of the sutra after the chanting session. In the afternoon of the last day, Amitabha Buddha Thrice Yearning and Chanting Services will be conducted to commemorate the deceased family members, or the karma creditors.
佛陀聖誕浴佛法會
本社謹訂於西元2017年4月30日，慶祝娑婆教主本師釋迦牟尼佛誕辰，啟建紀念法會一永日。是日上午九時，普佛祝聖及獻供祈福，恭請主法宣講釋迦佛成道之勝義。中午佛前上供，敬備素齋供佛供眾。下午一時半，共修〈普賢行願品〉、唱誦華嚴字母。晚課，禮拜八十八佛大懺悔文，蒙山施食迴向。
Bathing the Buddha Ceremony Dharma Event
On April 30, ABLS will hold several events to celebrate Shakyamuni Buddha’s birthday: chanting session starting at 9 AM, Dharma talk of Buddha’s enlightenment given by Abbess Tian Cheng, food offering and vegetarian lunch at noon. At 1:30 PM, the assembly will chant the Vows of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra Sutra, followed by Avatamsaka Syllabary chanting and dedication of merit.
觀音菩薩成道法會
本社謹訂於西元2017年7月9日，慶祝觀音菩薩成道，啟建紀念法會一永日。是日上午九時，普佛祝聖及獻供祈福，宣講觀音法門之勝義。中午敬備素齋供佛供眾。下午一時半，準提經咒行法共修。晚課，禮拜八十八佛大懺悔文，蒙山施食迴向。
Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva Enlightenment Dharma Event
ABLS will celebrate Avalokitesvara (Guanyin) Bodhisattva’s Enlightenment on July 9, 2017. Chanting congregation will start at 9 AM, followed by a Dharma talk on the doctrine and practice of Avalokitesvara. Vegetarian lunch will be provided for participants. Cundi Sutra and Cundi Mantra chanting will start at 1:30 PM. Afterwards, there will be evening practice and dedication of merit to complete the event.
盂蘭盆孝親報恩梁皇法會
本社謹訂於西元2017年8月20至27日，啟建盂蘭盆報恩祈福梁皇法會八永日。8月20日上午九時起，禮拜《梁皇寶懺》六日。8月26日上午九時，啟建「盂蘭盆供佛齋僧法會」，諷誦《佛說盂蘭盆經》及持報父母恩咒，迴向歷代宗親、父母師長、六親眷屬。上供十方三寶，下濟六道含靈。下午一時半，準提法門共修，諷誦《準提經》並持神咒；晚課禮拜八十八佛，加持蒙山施食迴向。8月27日上午九時，諷誦《普賢行願品》經文，舉行「延生藥師普佛」法事，祈令齋家福壽康寧、離諸災厄。下午二時，設放「三時繫念」佛事，拔度各姓先亡，往生淨土。
Ullambana Celebration Dharma Event
ABLS will hold an eight-day event (August 20-27) to celebrate the Ullambana Festival. Starting from 9 AM August 20, the congregation will practice Emperor Liang Jeweled Repentance for six days. Then on August 26, there will be chanting of the Ullambana Sutra, Filial Piety Mantra, Cundi Sutra, Cundi Mantra, and 88 Buddha Repentance. On the last day, August 27, the assembly will chant the Vows of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra Sutra, then participate in the Medicine Buddha Blessing Ceremony and the Amitabha Buddha Thrice Yearning and Chanting Services.
