CITIZENSHIP CLASS ON SATURDAY

CITIZENSHIP CLASS ON SATURDAY

Beginning May 3, 2008, for 3 months, ABLS is having a tutoring class for U.S. citizenship exam every Saturday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Grand Hall. Our long –time volunteer team member Anne Hu, who previously host the SAT classes offered

by ABLS for high school students, once again kindly helps to be the tutor to provide information and training for those who are currently green card holder and about to take the citizenship exam with hope that they will pass the exam and become US citizen smoothly.

During the class time, Anne instructs attendants how to fill out registration forms, practices over the exam questions and helps the students to memorize answers with interesting stories. She is all prepared with complete information and puts them in good order into her teaching. Anyone who is interested is welcomed to attend the class, since the material covers US history, government systems, social development, and culture variety. Actually it’s not only merely to pass the exam as we also learn and understand a lot more about USA. Anne plans to do the interview with attendants in English for a real practice later on. Our 3 Resident Venerables will also be attending the class. Both the tutor and students are very attentive and enjoys the lesson greatly.
