ABLS 2018 春季法會通啟（Spring Dharma Service Notice）
【觀音菩薩誕辰紀念法會】
本社謹訂於西元2018年4月1日（星期日）（農曆二月十六日），慶祝觀音菩薩誕辰紀念，啟建紀念法會一永日。是日上午九時，普佛祝聖，誦持〈普門品〉，宣講觀音法門勝義及獻供祈福。中午敬備素齋供佛供眾。下午一時半，準提經咒法門共修。晚課禮拜《八十八佛大懺悔文》，加持〈蒙山施食〉迴向。
敬請諸位護法居士，共襄盛舉，同種福田！
Avalokiteshvara (Guanyin) Bodhisattva’s Birthday Celebration Dharma Service
ABLS will celebrate the Avalokiteshvara (Guan Yin) Bodhisattva’s Birthday on April 1, 2018. Starting at 9 AM, the assembly will first chant the Avalokiteshvara Mantra (incantation), Heart Sutra and the Universal Gate Sutra. Then Master Tian Cheng, the Abbess, will introduce the doctrine and practice of Avalokiteshvara. Food offering for blessings will be at noon. Starting again at 1:30 PM, participants will chant the Cundī Sutra and Cundī Mantra. For the evening session, there will be Eighty-Eight Buddha Repentance and Meng Shan Food Bestowal Ceremony.
All are invited to pray for Guan Yin’s blessings, and the merits will be dedicated to all attendees for happiness and wisdom.
【啟建華嚴七處九會海印道場、春季華嚴誦經暨清明祭祖法會】
本社謹訂於西元2018年4月15日上午九時，啟建華嚴七處九會海印道場修證法會。
4月16至22日止，舉辦為期一週的春季華嚴誦經暨清明祭祖法會。每日上午八時半起，諷誦《大方廣佛華嚴經》、唱持〈華嚴字母〉，由本蓮社住持天承法師主持並開示《華嚴經》要義；華嚴誦經暨字母共修，每日下午四點半結束。
圓滿日4月22日上午八時半，諷誦〈普賢行願品〉經文，舉行「延生藥師普佛」法事一堂，以祈本社延生堂上諸蓮友、護法居士大德們，福壽康寧，家門吉慶。下午二時，設放「三時繫念」佛事一堂，願以此功德拔度本社功德堂上地基神祇、各姓護法門中先遠宗親、父母師長、冤親債主、無緣子女等眾亡靈，早生淨土。
Spring Avatamsaka Sutra Chanting Dharma Event for Ching Ming
Ching Ming (Tomb-Sweeping Day) is a traditional Chinese Memorial Day to commemorate the deceased family members and friends. Accordingly, ABLS will hold a memorial event led by Abbess Tian Cheng. The event will start at 9 AM on April 15, 2018.
Then from April 16 to 21, participants will chant Avatamsaka Sutra and Avatamsaka Syllabary starting at 8:30 AM every day, and Abbess Tian Cheng will lecture on the essentials of the sutra after the chanting session.
On the last day of April 22, the assembly will chant the Vows of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra Sutra starting at 8:30 AM, then join the Eighty-eight Buddha Repentance & Liturgy of Medicine Buddha for blessings. In the afternoon starting at 2pm, Amitabha Buddha Thrice Yearning and Chanting Service will be conducted to help the deceased family members and the karma creditors.
【佛陀聖誕浴佛法會】
本社謹訂於西元2018年5月20日，慶祝娑婆教主本師釋迦牟尼佛誕辰，啟建紀念法會一永日。是日上午九時，釋迦普佛祝聖及獻供祈福，恭請主法宣講釋迦佛成道之勝義。中午佛前上供，敬備素齋供佛供眾。下午一時半，共修〈普賢行願品〉、唱持〈華嚴字母〉。晚課，禮拜〈八十八佛大懺悔文〉，加持〈蒙山施食〉迴向。
Bathing the Buddha Ceremony Dharma Event
On May 20, ABLS will host a gathering to celebrate Shakyamuni Buddha’s birthday. Starting at 9 AM, the Shurangama Mantra Chanting & Liturgy of Shakyamuni Buddha will be conducted, followed by a Dharma talk of Buddha’s enlightenment given by Abbess Tian Cheng. Grand Meal Offering to the Buddhas and vegetarian lunch will be at noon. At 1:30 PM, the assembly will chant the Vows of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra Sutra and Avatamsaka Syllabary. For evening practice, there will be Eighty-Eight Buddha Repentance and Meng Shan Food Bestowal Ceremony.
