歲末華嚴誦經會
《華嚴經》，全名《大方廣佛華嚴經》。為佛陀成道後，於天上、人間七處，經九次集會，藉普賢、文殊等諸大菩薩海眾，開顯佛陀的因行果德，正如繁華一般莊嚴富貴、芬芳燦爛，展現了佛境界廣大圓滿、重重無盡、事事無礙的生命智慧。本社自南亭老和尚1957年啟建「華嚴誦經法會」以來，每年春季、歲末兩次的法界盛會，僧信共修不綴，延續至今。
本社謹訂於西元2017年12月10日（星期日）起至2017年12月17日（星期日）（農曆十月廿三至三十日）止，啟建歲末華嚴誦經會八永日。諷誦《大方廣佛華嚴經》卷六十至卷八十一。由本蓮社住持天承法師主持並開示《華嚴經》要義。在諸佛菩薩的慈悲加被下，祈願法界一切眾生，同遊華藏世界，共入毘盧性海。
圓滿日舉行藥師普佛及往生普佛各一堂。以祈本社延生堂上諸蓮友，福壽康寧，家門吉慶。並願以此功德拔度本社功德堂上地基神祇、各姓護法門中先遠宗親、父母師長、冤親債主、無緣子女等眾亡靈早生淨土。
誦經會於每天上午八時半開始，敬請十方大德蒞臨參與同霑法義，共植福田。
Year End Avatamsaka Sutra Chanting Ceremony
The Avatamsaka Sutra, or the Flower Adornment Sutra demonstrates Buddha’s endless virtues and wisdom through Samantabhadra, Manjushri and other Bodhisattvas in nine meetings, seven places of heaven and earth after he reached enlightenment. Huayen Lotus Society has been hosting the Avatamsaka Sutra chanting ceremony twice a year since 1957, following the direction of Master Nan Ting, the Abbot at the time.
From December 10th (Sunday) to December 17th (Sunday), ABLS will host an eight-day ceremony chanting the Avatamsaka Sutra Volumes 60 through 81. Abbess Tian Cheng will also lecture on the essentials of the sutra. All sentient beings are endowed to explore the Huayen world of ultimate reality and to enter the great field of Bodhi.
On the last day, Buddha honoring services will be conducted to bless the living as well as to commemorate the deceased.
The chanting ceremony will start at 8:30 AM on each day. You are all cordially invited to participate and receive the blessings.
佛陀成道紀念法會
本社謹訂於西元2018年1月21日（農曆十二月初五日）星期日，慶祝娑婆教主釋迦牟尼佛成道紀念。是日上午九時，釋迦普佛祝聖；並由住持天承法師開示釋迦佛曠劫修行成道之行願法門。中午佛前大供，敬備素齋供佛供眾。下午諷誦《華嚴經 • 普賢行願品》；晚課禮拜《八十八佛大懺悔文》，加持《蒙山施食》迴向。敬邀闔府蒞臨，共修福慧。
敬請諸位護法居士，共襄盛舉，同種福田！
Bodhi Day Dharma Service
On Sunday, January 21, 2018, ABLS will celebrate the Bodhi Day, which commemorates the day when Buddha, Siddhartha Gautama, attained enlightenment. Starting at 9:00 AM, Shakyamuni Buddha Honoring Service will be conducted; and Abbess Tian Cheng will also lecture on Shakyamuni Buddha’s practices and vows. Then fellowed by food offering ceremony and vegetarian lunch. The assembly will chant the Aspiration of Bodhisattva Samantabhadra in the afternoon; and Eighty-Eight Buddha Repentance, Meng Shan Food Bestowal Ceremony (Food for the passed away) for the evening service session. Everyone is invited.
All are invited to pray for Shakyamuni Buddha’s blessings, and the merits will be dedicated to all attendees for happiness and wisdom.
2018全年供養三寶、消災祈福、光明燈、安太歲（龍、牛、羊、狗）及全年聽經蓮位開始報名。
